Baby love...

I was so excited to hear from Christin and Lance again.  Last year in the spring, I did a newborn shoot when they welcomed baby Roman. 

He had the brightest, clearest little newborn eyes and was so alert for most of the shoot.  Lance and Christin are the happiest, most positive parents.  Lance lights up the room when he walks in.  Love that!

Roman turned one this spring, so birthday pictures were in order.

The best news was that Roman had a baby sister now!!!  Meet Milan Isabella.

This little beauty was 7 weeks old at the time of our shoot.  This isn't an age I normally photograph. I've been missing out.  She was a dream!

I am so excited for this beautiful family.

Enjoy every minute, Lance and Christin.  I'm excited to watch these two grow.

Big supporters...

I appreciate and cherish this family SO much!  They are some of my biggest supporters.  This is my second shoot with them; and, since the first one, they make sure to comment or "like" every sneak peek I put on my Facebook business page.  I also hear from them regularly on my personal page.  It means a lot to me to have their friendship and support.  They are exactly why I love my job. 

Jill and Andrea live in Italy.  Someday I'm going to do a shoot for them in their city!  In the meantime, I will just have to look forward to their next visit.

Playing at the park...

This grandma and grandpa got a gift certificate for a photo shoot from their family.  We spent an hour at the park with their two 2-year old grandbabies.  They brought along toys they've owned since their children were little.  You can't pose a shoot like this.  It's spontaneous, fun, and SO natural.  The kids played and loved on their grandparents...and were happy to be together.   It was  hard to pick favorites.  Here are a few, but I also included the video.  It's priceless.

So great to be together...

I've known this family for my entire life.  I just haven't seen them all in one place in a very, very long time.  The girls were coming in town to visit mom, and their brother surprised her by joining them.  I was thrilled to be asked to be part of her surprise.  It made me teary to see them all together again. 

Another beautiful session to share...

It is a great feeling to be hired by a client to take their family pictures.  It's an even greater feeling when that client hires you again and again.  I was thrilled when Kelley contacted me again and asked me to take their family pictures before her two oldest head back to college.

Kelley and family make it so easy to get great shots.  I wish I could share some of the family images. They are amazing!  I don't want to ruin Kelley's Christmas card surprise.   She will be ahead of the game this year!!
