That's me...busy. It's a good kind of crazy! I'm taking July off, and I'm looking forward to just spending this time having fun with my family.
I had so much trouble picking favorites from Lexie's shoot! Would you believe she just graduated from 8th grade? These look like senior pictures...can't wait to do those! ;)
I seriously would love to post all 44 shots!
I had so much fun with some fellow photogs last night. We met with Tiffany and John. They got married on April 14 and needed some fun couple shots. My buddy, Kristi, got this of us in action. I love it! I'm the one closest to the couple.
I'm still working on their shots, but I have a sneak peek!

Staying cool...
We've been busy doing lots of water play with friends. The pools are open, but I think Jake would rather do the slip and slide.
We've also had a couple of outings...including the zoo.
I love that they held hands the entire time they were petting the sting rays. I think Izzy was making sure Jake wouldn't end up in the water!
I went to bed that night so sore. Then it dawned on me...I pushed about 90 pounds of kid in a double stroller through the zoo with a backpack on my back. That's not too bad for an almost 47 year old!
I've been busy shooting these last couple of weeks. June will also be busy, but then I've decided to take July off again just like I did last year.
Here are some of my favorites from this past week.
I just finished this fun session with three little cuties...
I'm working on this fun family session right now. Yes...they are this cool.
More to come! Back to work! ;)

We're back...
We spent last week in Disney World. We really had a great time. Jake is old enough to go on most of the rides and not afraid of anything. I have lots of pictures to share, but I need a little more time. Jake is off school now, so it's all about summer fun!
The week before our trip, my dad decided to take Jake and Izzy fishing. It was a last minute trip, and I didn't have my camera. These were taken with my dad's point and shoot and edited. Not bad, huh? I mostly struggled with color and a little bit with focus.
I was so shocked by Jake's big catch. I didn't expect a catfish in this lake. Jake reeled it in all by himself. I just helped him lift it out of the water.
I took Jake to Grant's Farm the next day with his buddies. It was his first time there. I was amazed that he wasn't afraid of the crazy goats! Remind me never to enter their pen again. They messed up my pedicure for Florida!
I didn't get many pictures because I was busy knocking them off my son! One put his front hooves on Jake's shoulders and stood face to face with him!
Mother's Day was nice and very low key. I needed that since I was busy packing. We left the morning after.
Jake had a t-ball game in the afternoon.
I'm glad that ball was moving slowly when it smacked him in the face. He didn't even say anything, so I wasn't aware until I edited this shot.
I'm loving the closed eyes. He got it. Actually...it got him.
His last game was this past weekend. The boys played on the dirt for the first time. The other games have been played on grass. It was comical to watch. They were far more interested in the dirt than in the game.
I'm thinking about framing the one above.
This next shot shows exactly why we chose t-ball. We didn't think he was ready for baseball.
He is standing on second base waiting to run. He is faced away from the hitter. It's ok, baby. You'll figure it out soon!
I loved this next shot. He's taking a picture of Mommy.
He made a picture for me recently. It's the two of us snuggling in bed. I love that our snuggling time is special to him. It certainly is to me!
I've been busy editing two sessions this week and gearing up for 4 more this weekend. Here are my favorites from Shelly and Shane's train station session. I love these boys! I love watching them grow.
