They are back!

The Blue Angels were back this year for the Air Show.  They haven't been around for quite a few years, so this was a new experience for Jake.  I can remember watching them with Kate from the front yard years ago, and now it was Jake's turn.  That's right.  We can watch the practices and show from our yard.  They fly low enough that I can get some really cool images.

Jake was picked to be in his district's art show this spring.  We were so excited for him and made a big deal out of it.  We went to the show as a family and took him out to dinner to celebrate after.

Another really big deal around here was Rick's graduation from college.  We are so happy for him and so excited for his future..and his future with our daughter. :)  I'm asked all the time if they are engaged.  No...they are not.  Kate started medical school last January for chiropractic.  Rick starts graduate school this fall.  I'm proud of them for focusing on their educations first.
